After A Lengthy Break, White House Tours Will Resume In March

The White House Visitors Office plans to resume public tours on March 7, 2017, First Lady Melania Trump announced Tuesday.

In her first official engagement on the weekend the First Lady opted not to follow tradition and take the visiting Japanese Prime Minister's wife on a tour of Washington DC, instead accompanying her to a Japanese garden in Florida.

The senator has yet to respond to the first lady's announcement. And it has further fueled rumors that she and Donald Trump are heading for a breakup.

Nearly immediately following President Trump's inauguration last month, "free Melania" became an Internet meme. "It was Donald's. Truthfully, it's a lot to cope with", an insider told Us Weekly.

This was confirmed by her spokesperson, saying that Melania has no intention in stopping what has already begun in the place.

Trump has spent most of her time since Inauguration Day on January 20 in the $100 million Trump Tower penthouse on Fifth Avenue, where her 10-year-old son Barron has a whole floor to himself, the New York Post noted. The White House vegetable garden can be traced back to 1800 when the first garden was planted by then-first lady Abigail Adams.
