T20, ODI squads named, Azhar, Umar axed

Batsmen Ahmad Shahzad and Kamran Akmal have made a comeback to the T20 and ODI squads, fresh off the back of their impressive performances in the recently-concluded Pakistan Super League 2017.

Ahmed Shehzad's year-long exile from Pakistan's limited overs sides will come to an end in the West Indies later this month after he was named in the national team's Twenty20 and one-day global squads.

"We had been carrying two wicketkeepers for quite some time now and Kamran can do this job too", Inzamam said of Akmal's recall. Fast bowler Mohammad Amir has been rested for the Twenty20 series.
